Halal food wasn’t easy to find in New York, especially in the city but luckily enough we found a halal steak place in Brooklyn called Affy’s. The atmosphere was lively and the service was good however we did have to wait a long time for the food; around 30-40 minutes. When the food did eventually come the quality of the food was amazing. We all highly enjoyed it and finished our food completely.
We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria and ordered room service for breakfast, there was a great choice between items such as eggs, salmon, pancakes and much more. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and hot chocolate. When the food did eventually arrive the room attendee gracefully presented our breakfast. The pancakes were delicious however there was a blueberry overload within the pancakes.
For dinner we found an Italian place called Little Italy’s however unfortunately I don’t have a picture. There wasn’t really anyone else in the restaurant as it was quite late before we went for dinner. The service was amazing and was served with complimentary bread and a homemade pasta sauce to try when we were initially seated. I ordered the shrimp linguine and it tasted like true authentic food. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.
IHOP (International House of Pancakes) one of America’s famous diner was an enjoyable experience. We were seated on arrival and had a great variety of different breakfast items to choose from. I ordered a vegetarian omelette with a side order of some regular pancakes. I’m not much of an egg fan but enjoyed my omellete. The food was overall was good and came soon after we ordered. Others ordered the brioche waffles which I tasted and was enjoyable.
